Eric Pyszka is a dedicated Food Safety and Quality professional with a strong background in environmental health and regulatory compliance. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health and Science from Illinois State University and began his career as a Health Inspector, where he developed a keen eye for compliance and risk management.
Eric went on to establish his own consulting firm, supporting businesses in achieving food safety and quality certifications. He later advanced into corporate food safety, serving as an SQF Practitioner for a Fortune 500 grocery company before stepping into his current role as a Food Safety Specialist. In this capacity, he supports both a national restaurant chain that recently went public and a major NFL stadium, ensuring food safety excellence across high-volume, complex operations.
He holds multiple industry-recognized credentials, including HACCP, Seafood HACCP, PCQI, SQF Practitioner, SQF Implementation, and SQF Auditor certifications. Eric brings a blend of regulatory expertise, auditing experience, and operational knowledge to drive continuous improvement and safeguard public health.
