• Where you're located: I live in Cambridge, New Zealand, a beautiful part of the world. Although I live here, we have a team that is spread across many locations so travel has been a big part of my life for many recent years.

• What certification(s) or interest area: I spent over 25 years auditing and managing certification bodies before joining ASQ, Exemplar Global's parent organization in 2015. I was also on the Exemplar Global Board of Directors for many years before that too. I became CEO just under 10 years ago so I have a long-standing relationship with Exemplar Global as a customer (actually, back in the QSA and RABQSA days), Board member and on staff.

I am currently working on GMP Metrology projects for a biotech firm.  I also have a side passion/interest in ISO 14001, mostly regarding reducing water waste through pressure and flowmeter calibration. There is so much water that is wasted due to poor pressurization and its such an easy metric to monitor and control.

I'm an American based in China and a Lead Auditor/Assessor in APAC for an independent agriculture auditing firm with a team of other QMS auditors. Currently, certified and experienced in several areas related to environmental and agricultural standards, and previously was Exemplar Global certified in ASQ CQA. • Who you are: Conway Deacon, currently working for a global Sushi Company (AFC), my role is a Food Safety Specialist.
