Well, that took a bit longer than a week, lol, but here's the correct answer: W. Edwards Deming, who became an honorary member of ASQ in 1970..

Walter A. Shewhart was first, in 1947. George D. Edwards was second, in 1949. And Martin A. Brumbaugh followed in 1960.
