Save the Date: ISO 9001:2026
According to ISO's latest announcement, the launch event for the new edition of ISO 9001 – Quality Management Systems - Requirements is scheduled for:
Wednesday, 16 September 2026
ISO currently lists the sixth edition of ISO 9001 as under publication, with publication expected in September 2026. Once issued, it will replace ISO 9001:2015, and certified organizations will be given a transition period to adapt to the updated requirements.
This will be an important development for:
- Quality managers and consultants
- Internal and lead auditors
- Certification bodies
- Training providers
- Organizations currently certified to ISO 9001:2015
At Quality For All (QFA), we will closely follow the official publication and share professional insights on the key changes, transition implications, auditor competence requirements, and organizational preparation needed for the new edition.
