  • 1.  Request for Help: English Proficiency Assessment Resources

    Posted 11 days ago

    Hello community members,

I'm seeking assistance with an English Proficiency Assessment. I'm looking for resources, study materials, tips, or guidance to help me prepare or understand this assessment better. And where can i find it? I am unable to locate it at  “My Pathways” > “Learning” > “Behavioural Assessments”.

Has anyone here taken a similar assessment or have experience with English proficiency evaluations? I would greatly appreciate any recommendations, practice resources, or advice you could share.

Thank you in advance for your help and suggestions!

    Best regards

    Hello Kanishk Singh,

You can find out information about English Proficiency Assessment on Google Website or from IA. Other suggestions may be sent by community members.

    Thanks!

Kanishk, I have not sat that particular assessment myself, but the way these work for auditors is less about general English and more about whether you can hold an audit conversation and write a finding that someone else can act on. If you cannot locate it on the site, one email to the certification team will get you the current requirement straight away rather than piecing it together from search results.

For preparation I would practise the real thing rather than study vocabulary. Write a few nonconformity statements against a requirement you know well, read them aloud, and cut anything that is not the requirement, the evidence and the gap. Then do a mock interview with a colleague where you have to ask open questions and summarise their answers back to them. That is the skill being looked at, and it stays useful long after the assessment is behind you.
