Rather than starting again, this upgrade focuses specifically on the gaps between ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 14001:2026, so you can stay current, support transition planning, and continue making sound audit and conformity decisions throughout the transition period.

It is also being developed to align with the final publication (not the FDIS, so you wont need to update your update to remain competent) and EG TPECS expectations, giving everyone a clearer pathway for maintaining competence as the revised requirements come into effect.

I wanted to complete this course as I am already qualified as an Environmental Lead Auditor. However, because I completed my previous training and Lead Auditor certification with the certification body I worked for previously, rather than through Exemplar Global, I was advised that I could not undertake this training.

It is quite disappointing that I was recommended to complete the ISO 14001:2015 Lead Auditor course again, despite already being qualified and having audited many organisations against the standard, simply to be eligible for the Transition course.
