ISO 31000 is a guidance standard for risk management, so in most cases there are no strict prerequisites to take the training. Since you already completed lead auditor training for ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001, you already have a strong foundation in management systems and risk-based thinking.
The main thing to understand is that ISO 31000 is not a certifiable management system standard like ISO 9001 or ISO 14001. Because of that, "Lead Auditor" courses for ISO 31000 are less common and usually focused more on risk management implementation, assessment, and integration into business processes.
My recommendation is:
-
Start with an ISO 31000 Foundation or Implementer course
-
Then move to Risk Manager or Internal Auditor training if available
-
Choose a training provider recognized internationally and with practical case studies
Your background already puts you ahead of many participants in these courses.

Subject: Guidance Needed for easy taking ISO 31000 Certification Requirements with minimum efforts
Hello everyone, I hope you're all doing well! I have completed my lead auditor training for ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14000, and I'm now interested in pursuing ISO 31000 training and certification.
However, I'm unsure about the prerequisites or any specific requirements I need to fulfill before I can enroll in the ISO 31000 course. If anyone has experience with this transition or can provide insights on what is needed to take the ISO 31000 training, I would greatly appreciate your guidance! Thank you in advance for your help!
