The purpose of this course is to help you become more aware about environmental standards, what they are, why they are in place and why organizations choose to get certified. It will also give you a high-level introduction to what is taken into consideration when your organization is creating or has already created an EMS or Environmental Management System. You will also be able to recognize how your day-to-day job tasks or activities can have an impact on the environment, and recognize how you have a role to play, how leadership at your company has a role to play, and how if we all work together to do our part, we can make a difference.
